Campus and Community Children's Center, Inc.

Began Offering Childcare: 1974

The Campus and Community Children’s Center (CCCC) is a QUALITYstarsNY participating program and has a licensed capacity of 204 children at its three programs. The early childhood program serves children ages eight weeks to five years including infants, waddlers, and toddlers (utilizing a Continuity of Care model), and pre-school children. The Center operates from 7:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. year-round.

Located on the SUNY Fredonia campus, the Center includes state-of-the-art observation rooms, a gym, five classrooms, and three wonderful, outdoor play areas. The eight-week summer camp program for four to 12-year-olds also runs from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The before school (7:00 a.m. – 8:30 a.m.), after-school (3:15 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.), and holiday (7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.) programs located at Wheelock Primary School offer school-age options for parents who are working or attending school/training. A preschool program, in partnership with the Dunkirk City School District, provides full-day preschool education during the school year to three- and four-year-olds at the School-4 Building in Dunkirk.

CCCC’s mission is to provide developmentally appropriate programs utilizing play and inquiry-based learning to meet the needs of all children. The Center serves children of State employees, including SUNY Fredonia faculty and staff, and the community at large. All State employees receive priority enrollment.
